Moments exercises

Take these probabilitiies: p1 = 0.05, p2 = 0.20, p3 = 0.30, and p4 = 0.45.
For several values of the exponent q we compute p1q, p2q, p3q, and p4q, and also the sum S(q) = p1q + p2q + p3q + p4q.
We show for larger positive q, S(q) is approximately equal to p4q, and for larger negative q, S(q) is approximately equal to p1q.
Complete this table and make the appropriate deductions.

  q    p1q    p2q     p3q    p4q     S(q)
